Is it illegal to ship cigarettes from one US state to another?
I am moving from Oregon to Alaska and cigarettes are almost half the price in Oregon. Is it legal for me to get someone to ship smokes to me?

Yes. As long as the cartons are your property and you have no intent on selling them, the government can have no claim on you. It's your stuff, do what you want with it.
