Cigarette Smoke Removal From Car

How to get tobacco smell out of my small bathroom?
I moved into this home last August. There is a cigarette smell in the bathroom. I have thought about changing the wallpaper and painting it. What else could take that smell away?

Smoke damage is a very tricky thing to try and cure. People can spend tons of money and effort on paint, flooring, and cleaning, to find the smell is still there. I just wanted to tell you that, so you're not heavily disappointed if it doesn't work.

Try, of course, cleaning the walls. This will, of course, possibly loosen and ruin the wallpaper. But this will give you a good reason to redecorate. Google cigarette smoke smell removal and see what cleaning solutions are given. PineSol is an excellent start. We used it to clean apartments at the apt community where I worked. A mop, bucket, and PineSol should do the trick. Be sure to get the ceiling, too, as that's probably where your main culprit is.

If cleaning, painting, and flooring don't work, Google ozone smoke remover. It's a little machine a painter should have. You put it in the room for a couple of days and it neutralizes the smells. We did it in apts that had fire damage and was amazed. A pro painter should have one. A car detail guy let me use his in my car to remove stinky car smell. What a hero. It works like a charm.

Good luck!
