How do actors fake smoking in films and on TV?
This might sound like a stupid question but I'm curious as to how actors and actresses fake smoking on camera?
Do they just smoke real cigarettes or less harmful alternatives? Or are there special effects cigarettes they can use? I've seen the fake joke shop cigarettes and they're clearly not realistic enough but I can't imagine non-smoking actors being forced to use real cigarettes on screen.

90 % of celebrities smoke. 95% of the deny it. So they are real cigarettes.
