Is it legal to smoke cigarettes at the age of 16 in north carolina?
I know that you have to be 18 years old to purchase but i think that north carolina allows you to smoke at 16. I dont want to hear anybody's opinion about smoking. I just want an answer.

What would be the point of making it illegal to buy smokes if you were under 18 but you could smoke cigarettes if somebody else broke the law to give them to you?
