American spirit cigarettes?
i used to smoke newports and camel no 9's until i tried a pack of american spirit menthol cigs they are really fresh tasting and they say they have no additives so does that mean there not as bad for you as newports (i head cigarette tobacco was just paper covered in melted tobacco leaves and sprayed then dipped in some chemical... ) are these real 100% tobacco and are they better for you?

They are not better for you, but they are less bad for you. I know that isn't super clear, so I'll explain it.
They are still cigarettes. There is nicotine and tar, which will destroy your lungs and give you emphysema and cancer. However, they do not have the extra chemical additives that most cigarettes have. Therefore, they are not quite as terrible for you as, say, Marlboros or Newports.
They also do not test on animals, though other cigarette companies do.
