Where is the cheapest place to buy liquor close to New York City?
I live in New York City but I am willing to drive to the surrounding states for cheaper prices. For example, I know New Hampshire has no alcohol tax. Are there other, closer places with smaller taxes? Any store recommendations?

Perhaps Delaware.

Rhode Island has a state sales tax of 7%. The rate was raised from 5% to 6% as a temporary measure in the 1970s, but has not since been lowered.
