Is the statistic 1 in 10 people die from smoking related deceases or 5million people a valid statement?
if 1 in 10 people of a population of 6.9 billion is actually 690 million, way more than 5 million..I feel like anti smoking groups are a little redicoulios and are running out of scare tactics. We place 104th in the world as a nation with cigarette related deaths, this means that in reallity 1 in 10,000 people die each year from smoking related desease.
