How many cartoons of cigarettes (10 packs per) are you legally aloud to carry accross state lines?
I am going home to NC from Chicago and the price difference is huge! I want to bring back as many as possible for personal use. ty in advance for the help!

Yeah, right, personal use and a nice little business on the side. However, transporting more than two cartons across state line is a misdemeanor, and transporting more than 25 cartons is a felony in Virginia, Kentucky and Tennessee, subject to fine, imprisonment and seizure of your car. And purchasers of large amounts are surveiled and their license plates reported to adjoining states.
